MARTIN J. CICCO

Managing Partner

Marty Cicco has enjoyed an extensive career in real estate investment banking and principal finance. Prior to founding MJC Associates in January of 2007, Mr. Cicco spent 29 years at Merrill Lynch & Co., serving most recently as Vice Chairman of Global Commercial Real Estate and Global Head of Real Estate Investment Banking. At Merrill, Mr. Cicco was involved in a broad range of transactions throughout the real estate, lodging and gaming industries, and led the company’s efforts on numerous IPO and M&A assignments. At Merrill Lynch Hubbard, Mr. Cicco was as a senior principal in various real estate investment funds, and served as a member of the board of the Zell/Merrill Lynch real estate funds.

Mr. Cicco has served on the advisory boards of the Columbia Business School’s Milstein Real Estate Center, the University of Wisconsin’s Madison Center for Real Estate and the Wharton School’s Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center. In addition, he is an active member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and the Real Estate Roundtable. Mr. Cicco is a former Trustee of the Urban Land Institute and a Past Trustee of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mr. Cicco is a graduate of Columbia University and received the John Jay award from Columbia College in 2006.
